May Madness

After an April that kicked our butts, we somehow didn't learn our lesson and kept up the madness for all of May.

More soccer! These kids are getting quite skilled and Charlotte in particular is getting good at posing like the queen she is.

Our last week of practice was Clark's birthday so we celebrated with popsicles before it rained and then the last practice Coach Blair decided to do a parents vs kids battle. It was surprisingly even matched, and even Dana playing in bare feet still managed to kick a ball straight in Naomi's face while I got shin smacked by wild boy Nate. Still, the kids had fun and won the game 6-5. Also, Coach Jeff made up these funny awards which were too perfect for our little llamas.

The last game of the season was HOT!! We went from wind, rain and cold to 95 degrees in a snap so our bunch were a bit sluggish and Charlotte went in for one whole play before plopping behind me in the shade while Dana hid behind his new hat (which he seriously loves) and Clark stole my cool neck scarf.  Drama Llamas you had one great season.

We had spirit week at school which included dress like the job you want day so Clark was a basketball player, Timmy was a football player and Charlotte was a stylist.

Also we did Iron Chef for YWs one night and all the food was spectacular! Our women know how to cook!
And of course, Mother's Day! We spent Saturday beforehand driving across the mountains to visit Grandma Sue and Tami and Brian and Charlotte, Tracy, and Henry. It was hot over there too so we enjoyed Uncle Brian's new digs and his awesome waterfall.
A long drive home made it in time for our Sunday Mother's day where I got spoiled sleeping in and then putting together a large basketball hoop in the afternoon. Perfection:) Also got some cute photos from school. Their teachers really nailed it this year.
