Miss Char - 10 months!

She's hit the double digits people and this month was a HUGE milestone. Crawling!!! Our life is officially about to get interesting. Let's just say our house isn't quite a baby proofed as we thought and Charlotte appears to be a cord biter:) This month she mastered the one arm, tummy crawl and just this week popped up on her knees to be twice as fast and almost as sneaky. She's cutting more teeth which meant a fun few days of throw up and grumpiness but overall this lady is super chill and giggly. She's also maybe too beautiful for her own good. We are accepting applications for future son in laws - warning, the vetting will be intense!

One funny memory: she loves feet. Yuck, right? But she LOVES them. She follows me around while I exercise trying to get my feet and sometimes if I stand too long near the couch I will feel a sudden wetness and look down to find her sucking on my toe. Dear baby, why? Just why?

Nurse Gailan

It was all a bit anticlimactic but...we made it! Or rather Dana did:) Three long years ago we had this crazy thought that maybe Dana should head back to school to become a nurse. It involved a LOT of paperwork, tests, late nights, clinical rotations and hard work. Last night we celebrated Gailan style. Which, unfortunately, meant wiggily kiddos, forgetting the tassles for his robes and a hurried piece of cake before scooting off for bedtime. But we are so proud of "My Daddy", as Clark yelled when he went up to be pinned. Dana is an excellent addition to the nursing field and we can't wait to see where it takes him! The ceremony was held in this super awesome church. Clark wanted to touch everything in the pews. Thank goodness our normal church doesn't have fun pens, paper and little holes:)

The kiddos did great, considering Charlotte had been throwing up for two days straight and Clark was on his third bag of fruit snacks for the day. It was a thousand degrees in the church and Miss Charlotte was quite roasty by the end but they did stupendous.

School's out for summer, folks. But you never know when we might start up again...:):)
