And the work goes on...

We knew it was coming, but it was still a shocker: last week our church ward split in two: the Terrace Heights Ward and the Moxee ward. It seriously needed to happen because we had 700ish people on our records (holy cow!). Still, it means not seeing some of my young women every Sunday and that makes my heart ache, but I'm trying to remember how wonderful it is to see the growth of the church and how this will help us grow closer as a Terrace Heights ward. It takes a lot of faith to trust in the Lord's plan. We feel so blessed to have known so many people and been a part of something so big (literally). And maybe, just maybe, we can now get soft chairs during Sacrament. Silver lining.
