Overall, though, they had a fun time of it.

The next week we spent one evening changing the oil (a success!) and another pushing the hulk up a ramp with the aid of our awesome neighbor, Seth. Yesterday, after conference, Dana spent five hours working on changing out the starter, solenoid, and the spark plugs. It was quite an endeavor and required a trip to the parents house for additional tools but at the end of it all we got everything replaced and rehooked and...Herbie still doesn't run:) Dana's taking it well, though, and we'll figure it out eventually. Dana has one pair of work clothes that we just keep washing. I relish the thought of getting it running and taking it down to the local car wash. Part of me worries the whole thing will dissolve under soap.
