Another cross country season in the books. He always started out feeling sluggish and slow and by the end is a speeding bullet train. Every Monday and Wednesday this kid has worked his butt off up hills at Franklin and sprinting around cones at Kissel.
He had two meets this year. The Sun City one miler where he ran a 9:13 and placed 9th in his age group (9-10 year old). He came in just behind his best buddy, Jake Pyfer. Charlotte loved hunting him down all over the course so we could snap some good photos.
His second meet was the Apple Ridge run which is a lot of uphill so we were very proud when he posted his best time ever in a meet: 8:17! We are so proud of how hard he pushed himself this year.
