Goodbye Summer...Hello Fall!

Ahhh fall in Yakima. The crisp apples strewn upon SR-24. The fresh smell of smoke in the air. The haze hiding the mountains from view. Yes, truly a magical time LOL!

Okay, in all seriousness, fall in Moxee is usually the best. This year we got a mixed bag. We rolled back in from vacation and sat under a cloud of smoke from Schneider Springs for a good two weeks. Every morning we would throw up the shades and check to see if Konnowack was visible. If it was - air quality was good. If it wasn't, well, we still had to get on with life.

Frisbee golfing with Dad. Miss Char was very upset that she couldn't throw the frisbee perfectly like Clark:)

More birthday parties at the arcade. This time it was Hudson's special day.
And then the next week, back to the arcade for one last summer extravaganza with the Farmers and Barfus'. Charlotte enjoyed trying to win the dinosaur game. I think we are good on the arcade for a while.
No idea what day this was but somehow this little sneaker got into the front seat:)
Had a fantastic end of summer party at the Barrientos on one of the few clear nights. Since it's Jorge and Tamara, there was of course delicious food, great music, oh and a mechanical bull for funsies. Dana wasn't going to ride it but then Jason and all the other guys started the trash talking and that's why I have these beauties forever.
Playdoh. Who knew Dana was such a master? Or that our kids would play with it for hours. Literally HOURS! Why have I not been using playdoh as a babysitter all this time? Anyway, we know now.
Miss Char started gymnastics and got to wear her cute leotard from Isla. Yeah, she's pretty cute.
She loves to participate at gymnastics even if the masks and directions are confusing at times.
One night the kiddos got my phone and had fun filming themselves.
And that was it! Goodbye summer...hello fall!
