Just a few random pics from our awesome summer so far. There has been a lot of traveling in the car and Clark has finally hit that stage where he just gives up and sleeps. Sometimes he requests his sunglasses so he can look extra cool whilst he dozes:). He also put himself down for a nap twice last week which was super funny and very excited for us parentals. He'll just announce that he's sleepy, wander into his bedroom, shut the door and even turn on his white noise machine.
Our 2nd annual summer pool party at the Smarts was completely epic. Such a perfect weather day. So many kids running and jumping. Clark LOVED the pool and was happy to swim around with Dana. Once Dana got out, however, he became what we call "people watching Clark" wherein he stood on the small step inside the pool and watched the other kids for 2 hours. Seriously. 2 hours. His lips were blue by the time we pulled him out but he was happy as a clam.
Oh yes the time out chair. Our ill fated attempt to instill some authority in our household. He loves the chair naturally and will happily sit in it whenever we tell him it's timeout. Now we make him sit on the wall but the chair is pretty cute. We love our crazy, wild toddler.
