Friend Getaway - Leavenworth

 Every September Dana abandons us for a night of fun and bromance with his Fantasy Football men folk. This year, they decided to up the fun by inviting the wives along for a Leavenworth getaway. We left the kiddos with Annie and took off Friday night. It did not disappoint. 

Dinner at a fancy restaurant with a hidden tiny door above our heads. Mini golf in the 100 degree heat. Fancy breakfast while being serenaded by these guys on the alpine horns. Really, could you ask for more? 

Oh you could? Well how about some pickleball and indoor hot tub time. Or even better, how about a delicious cake for Trisha's birthday that you eat late at night while wrapped in a plushy robe out by the pool? Yeah, that all happened too. 

Yup, our friends are the coolest. We also did games at night and then I got to snuggle my hubby in a bavarian sized double bed. Oh and we got ice cream on the way home. Best weekend ever!
