Is it Cake?

Happy New Year!!! 2023 already. Crazy!

First, the kids are obsessed with this show "Is It Cake?" which is just bakers trying to make cake that looks like real objects and judges trying to guess if it's cake. Simple. Easy. Addictive. 

Also, their new show is "The Bad Guys" which has hilarious music that Clark throws up on their new dots all the time and then sometimes sings in the shower for our general amusement. 

New Years Eve we went for a family (plus Timmy Farmer) swim at the YMCA. Unfortunately they had chlorine levels way off the charts so no one could use the kid section for the first half hour. No big. We will just cram 50 children plus parents into two lanes of the cold lap pool and it will be fine. Totally fine. Thank goodness we brought our new dive toys which saved the day....for us and some other families who mooched:) 

That evening we finally did a real sit down Fondu where the kids dipped with their tongs and everything. Then we had a glow stick dance party which wasn't as cool as Aunt Kristen's but still pretty fun. Then oreos. Then bed. Then sneaking out from bed to watch the ball drop in NYC at 9PM. Then finally real bed and then fireworks from random neighbors at midnight and then quiet bed. 

Whew! It's been a year ya'll. 10:30 church is gonna be great. A new bathroom is gonna be great. Family vacays are already shaping up to be great. Older kids. Sunshine in our future (oh please soon!). Yup. We are confident about 2023!
