It's only been one week of summer and we are already having a blast. Got some new cars...found some old masks...took a nap like an 80s rock star:)
Grandma Sue gave us her amazing car town and the kiddos have been loving that. We spent our mornings at the park learning some sweet new skills or else splashing with friends at the Reiersen's pool. Then we spend the hot afternoons watching every Disney movie made including Raya and Luca.
But mostly we sit and wait for Daddy to get home. This last weekend for Father's Day we got to hit up one of our favorite joints again - bowling!
Ahh yes, classic bowling. We managed 1 and a half games. Dad smoked us all eventurally as he always does.
Charlotte did NOT enjoy the noise for the first half and spent it like this. Clark, ever the helpful older brother, bowled her frames and hilariously was AMAZING when he was Charlotte/Clark. Seriously, his final Clark score was 80 whereas Char/Clark hybrid bowled a 109 complete with a strike. So funny.
Eventually, she warmed up and helped us push her ball slowly down the alley. We finished the night with lawn projects (fixed that pesky sprinkler!), Indian food and a sweet nap on the couch.
