Normally in this covid year any holiday post would be filled with way the gubment and Inslee ruined our day. But you can't cancel halloween, suckers! And Moxee did it up right this year!
The usual school hoe down had to be adapted for a Covid world so they opted for a drive thru haunted house, pumpkin patch and trunk or treat. Driving in the car is really the way to go on a cold October night but we could have done with 5 or so...hundred less cars in line with us. Seriously, it took us over an hour to get from the Moxee Mart to the haunted house and then another half hour to do the trunk or treat. The things we do for our kiddos:) Clark and Charlotte went a little bananas in the car until we unbuckled and let them roam free. I don't know what my parents are always complaining about - kids loose in a car is super easy.
Actual Halloween was a Saturday this year and because of a happy wedding coincidence, the Matt and Kristen Gailan family joined us for some afternoon fun and cousin shenanegins.Sorry his crossed legs were too cute not to include. G&G Gailan came with treat bags. Yum!
It was 65 so we took advantage of one last day on the swings. Great mowing job too, Dana!
After everyone left, we struck out for candy gold in the twilight. Both kiddos were SUPER into candy this year so even though we only did friends and a few neighbors we still came home packed with goodies. And this house won best in class award for Covid deliver. Literally had a candy shoot from the front door. Genius!
Happy Halloween 2020!
