Oh we have had some adventures this month. It's been gray (par for the course) and windy and snowy. So we go jumping. (This is Charlotte with Rachel and her friend who pretty much adopted her for the whole hour)
And we hike our pants up really high after bath time because we are weird. And when we get desperate, we put on all our snow gear for the 1 inch snow storm and go play by the tree while we wait for Mr. Clark.
Or, my favorite, we run around the church at workout group and pretend we are a "big girl" who can give talks at the primary podium. Shy? Not this baby. PS Miss Char is still struggling with delayed speech but her babbling is coming along nicely. She is CHATTY. Like crazy chatty. And has some funny new phrases including: "I siwwy", "kay" and "gecko". She has most of the animal sounds now and we are working on colors.
And January unfortunately is the month of ward conferences which means "Dad days" get cut in half because we don't see Dana all of Sunday. It also means the start of me bringing the kiddos to my early 8AM Ward Council meeting....which means on Sundays we just make it through the day, no questions asked.
This is just a cute photo of them eating quietly. It was a rare moment of silence.
I'm bored of her hair in a ponytail so I got crazy last week. Not too shabby.
Oh yes. The duck. Ben from work gave us a weird duck toy that can either be the funniest part of our day or the most traumatic depending on how the kids are feeling.
Four days from now we are off to Cancun. Not that I'm counting or anything. :)
