Spring is here and somedays it's 70 degrees and somedays it's 40 with 50 mph winds. We enjoy the variety...and the bounce in our hair:)
Char did this one night while the boys were playing basketball. So weird. So cute. So...Char. When it's bedtime, she means business.
Dana found these sorta big jeans and tried them on and I feel like she became 16 all of a sudden. Especially with that hair! And she has started insisting she eats food whole, instead of cut up like a baby. Chicken nuggets. Big 'ol bread rolls. Waffles. Whatever. No more bite sized snacks. And then she nibbles on them for half an hour before launching 3/4ths of it back to the floor. Oh child.
Clark has finally relented and allowed her to play with him. It's been fun. And dangerous.
And most mornings I come out of the shower to find this:
Clark says it's a "constution site"; I say it's a trip hazard. But they do play nicely for 10 minutes or so which is why they win.Had a RS birthday celebration and our cupcakes were in the hilariously intricate little boxes. Too much work for me but hey pretty neat.
This is just a funny memory I want to keep forever of Mr. Clark. He didn't want to wear socks and his shoes have vent holes in them. Then he wanted to drag his foot through every spot of dust in the street. Then he got a thistle in his shoe. Then he took it off...5 times. Then Mom said no more. So he rode two blocks home with the thistle foot high in the air. Props for balance.
And a Char story. She likes being naked after the bath and come out every night to do this. Sometimes she will put her clasped hands behind her back like a yoga pose. No idea where she got this. (PS. Dana made me put on the diaper to take the picture. Prude.)
And finally...proof that I do indeed let my kiddos have fun, get dirty, and "be kids" as everyone keeps telling me. Sure they get a full on bath when we get home but at least they lived it up for a brief, shining moment.
