Our hotel (the Inn) was seriously wild. There were huge barn doors that opened up to the bathrrom with a full rain shower and a this deep tub. There was a little cutaway window so we could look from the bed into the bathroom. The kids had way too much fun with that.
We spent the evening at this bizarre Bounceville that was a pretty good deal for $2 but also kind of my germy nightmares made manifest. Dana was quite impressed that I didn't run screaming from the room, especially when Charlotte made it her life's mission to lick everything in sight...including the popcorn strewn floor...twice. (Head slap!) Clark loved making new friends and Dana relived his childhood on one of those weird floor scooter boards.
Bedtime was a night I could forget. Charlotte slept like a champ in her pack n'play squeezed between the two beds. Clark...slepts like a giant, roasting bear right up against my neck. I finally called it at 3AM and defected to Dana's bed, who then took his turn with the Clark-bear.
We opted not to spend the $25 bucks a person for breakfast and instead drove to McDonald's (which would have been fine except we had McDonald's for dinner the night before - please get more restaurants Cle Elum!). Then we did what we really came to do...check out the pool, waterslides, and the hot tub. Clark refused about 15 times to go down the waterslide but Dana did one and it was meh. The pool was awesome. But the hot tub. Oh man. Our kids LOVE the hot tub. Yeah, they are mine. It was all a bit of a blur and over too fast but we may have to make this a yearly event, you know, once one of us stops licking popcorn off floors:)
