Moxee Madness

I can't believe it's been a whole month. Time really does fly when you are having fun (and slowly losing your mind from being busy). We have taken lots of walks this month, spent a lot of time with fam, and celebrated our nations Independence Day! Here's just some snapshots of the fun along the way:

Father's Day - it's not secret that Dana is maybe the most awesome Dad on the planet. He is generally pretty patient with our crazy toddler and loves to shoot "jumpers" with him, tickle his tummy and read books they got at the library. The second pic is Clark's first official selfie. I found this gem after deleting the other 20 he took that were not so awesome:) 

Kristen's parents are seriously the nicest. For his birthday they got him this awesome outfit. He looks like quite the Islander baby in it and we are starting to see more and more of his cheesy side (check out that grin). This was taken right before the ill fated hair cut day. He hair gets crazy unruly every few weeks and we have to strap him into his seat on a chair in the garage while Dana buzzes it off. This is his most hated activity and he spent the last one just crying and begging to be picked up. 

Blueberries arrive the last week of June. We actually loved them so much (and they were cheap) so we went two Saturdays in a row. We totally crushed it. For the third year running Clark was not impressed. He picked a few and managed to get them in our buckets but mostly he wanted to steal our blueberries. Not to eat, of course, because blue things aren't food and the few times he tried putting one in his mouth it was quickly rejected with a "eww" face. But he liked running up and down the rows, staring creepily at other families picking, and listening to that old country twang on the loud speaker.



This is just half our haul. Yay blueberries!!

Aunt Kristen has been watching Clark 2 full days a week this summer. Clark and Stella (or "yaya" as he calls her) have become quite the besties. They go to the park and play with toys and Clark is always very happy to softly pet her head.


And then the 4th! This is my favorite holiday because it involves fireworks, dessert and usually a hot summer day. This year - not so much. We started the morning at Bishops pancake breakfast where Clark loved chasing the older kids and the bubbles around. That afternoon the Washburns, Gailans, and Saylors arrived (no Woodburys this year which felt very weird and sad). We had great food and bundled up for somewhat chilly, though still funtastic fireworks madness in Moxee. It was Steve and Bella's first time and they were not disappointed:)








We love summer! It goes too fast....kinda like this little munchkin. Happy Independence Day everybody!
