A quick trip down to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving. Some of the highlights:
- listening to The Red Pyramid all the way down...and back up...and going to work the next week (long book. Caaaarter!)
- lounging jealously in Sarah's sun room
- golf at the country club (that one's Dana's. Yes, he managed to finagle golf in November.)
- Thanksgiving dinner at the kiddie table with Sarah and Taylor:) Really takes a girl back.
It was impossible to get a clear shot of Sarah's kids because they kept running around but I did my best.
Other highlights:
- Taylor's bleu cheese, bacon deviled egg experiment. Huh and Yum at the same time.
- Catching Fire
- Dana trying mince meat pie for the first time
- Black Thursday shopping for Sarah and Kelli (I snagged a coloring book set, Minnie Mouse, and two Barbies in 20 seconds. Boo yeah!)
- Actual black Friday shopping with sad, sad results. Curse you Wal-Mart for lying about having enough IPhones for everyone in line.
Last but in no way least was sitting in the President's box for the BYU vs. Utah State game at the EnergySolutions Arena. If you have to watch basketball, I highly recommend it in box seats:) Free food. Leg room. Private bathroom. Oh yeah. The only way to live.
Thanks for the great memories, Woodburys. We'll see you at Christmas next year!
