The sickness subsided and Christmas came in with a bang for our family. We started the festivities with our annual Shepherd's feast and the Nativity Story.
Followed by opening our Christmas PJs (yes, Charlotte was soooo excited for her Nightmare Before Christmas jammies) and then trying to fall asleep before Santa arrived.Christmas morning was fast and furious with Clark popping awake at 5:45 and Char closing following at 6:15 so....out we went to tear into our stockings and packages and stuff breakfast into our faces before heading out for church at 8:30AM.
Presents included squish mallows, diving toys, 3 switch games, a Razorback hat, their own dots, race cars, art supplies, knitted booties from Grandma Sue, books and throwing games from G&G Kitchen and so so much more. These lucky kiddos felt very loved. Mom and Dad were equally spoiled with apple airpods, a laptop and a few switch games ourselves.
But church was the highlight of the day. Clark took cute photos of us before church. Sacrament was entirely music supplied by the choir, YM/YW, family group and the cutest primary number that both kiddos sang loudly. We are so grateful for a wonderful year full of memories and family. We are so grateful to celebrate the birth of the Savior each year and spend the whole month learning about his life and love and sacrifice. Merry Christmas 2022!
