A few months back, during all the craziness of summer, we decided the grownups needed a trip. First it was Hawaii, then San Diego, and finally we landed on a more laid back trip in Vancouver BC. Problem was, Canada was still closed due to Covid. So we waited. And waited. And finally, the opened up just in time for us to have an awesome adventure while G&G Kitchen watched the kiddos.
The first day was lovely weather with an IKEA trip, Ivar's and then some very.....interesting ramen that we ate in a sketchy pop up park because someone (me!) forgot that canada restaurants require a vaccine card just to get inside. Anyway, the ramen was odd, my egg was grey, we made it work.
Day 2, we headed up to the Sea to Sky Gondola for the most beautiful views imaginable. Or...they would have been if the storm of the year hadn't blow in the night before and dumped on us all day. Seriously, SO MUCH RAIN!!Still, pretty good to be up so high in the clouds and we got in a nice hike.
Day 3 - the rain stopped long enough for us to have a beautiful clear day at the Capilano suspension bridges. So so cool! Seriously, SO COOL!

At nights we went out to fancy schmancy restaurants where the food was hot and the conversation good. We made another IKEA pit stop in Canada cause why not? Oh and the VRBO we stayed at had a sauna in it. Yes, you read that right - a freakin' sauna! So even though it rained every night, we were cozy and warm like a couple of Fins in our sauna.
