A few words to start on these kiddos of mine - they are CRAZY! In the best sense, of course, but also in the pure crazy sense. As evidenced by the one day I decided to vacuum the couch cushions and we made an awesome floor fort and they both became silly billies.
Miss Char has also embraced being a true toddler. She likes to sneak up under the desk and try to bite your toes and she is now adamant that she be allowed to sit on the couch like a big girl, even if she falls off a few seconds later.

We did so many fun things in September, starting with....the Ellensburg Rodeo! Yes, this yearly event has become a much loved tradition. This year Kristina and I braved it alone while the boys hiked? travailed? almost died? on a 26 hour death march up Mt. Adams. If you want the full story on that, just grab a copy of Dante's Inferno and you've basically got it down. They survived and will never never never do it again. Enough said.
Back to the fun! We took the kiddos and while Clark didn't ever get any of his own candy, he also didn't cry and was happy to let Anderson use his seat as a candy recepticle. Charlotte mostly sat in the stroller and sucked her minkie. Atta girl!
When the boys had recovered, we headed back to Ellensburg with Grandma Tina (who was here to pick up her beloved Acura). Oh, ps, we got a new car. A Honda CRV. It's awesome. I have no picture of the car. Why? Because I don't alright. I have kids and I only take pictures of them now, apparently:) It's gray and it drives. That's all you need to know.
Anyhoo...we went to the river and it was just the most lovely day. Perfect weather. The river was low so the kiddos could walk right out and toss in rocks. Clark never wanted to leave. And Charlotte was very photogenic and happy to smile.
The next day....my baby boy got himself all growed up and decided to take on Preschool in style. Yes, he is getting SOOOOO big! We decided tears weren't our thing so we high fived instead at the door.
Clark goes to Miss Allen's Kinder Garden Preschool Tues - Friday from 8:30 until 11:30. He's covering all the basic ABC's, some coloring, painting, silly dancing and she even makes them wash up dishes! I love it! After his first day of school, he almost passed out on the floor from having so much fun:) His favorite friends right now are Beckham Miller, Gabe Moss and someone named Ava.
While Clark was at his first day, we went out for one last hurrah with Grandma Tina and Aunt Kristina - pear picking! I think this year we've managed to get free apples, pears, raspberries, and cherries. Nice! (Also - no idea who this kid is with Nat. He just kept following her around. Okaaay.)
Clark's first day of school photo. Yeah, that's going on the wall!
Fun times mean lots of baths for my stinky children. Dana took the liberty to punk rock band them up one night. They both pull it off quite nicely. And Charlotte's hair continues to astound us by growing, growing, growing...
The next weekend we took off again in the opposite direction for Pasco to visit Uncle Matt and Aunt Kristen in their new amazing house! We went on a walk and Clark got to try out Stella's new ride. Can you tell he's just a bit thrilled?
Not to be outdone, Charlotte found this fuzzy chair in the living room and immediately went bonkers. Seriously she spent the whole night ramming head first into it and then swivling around to lounge.
Once Clark realized how much to liked the chair, he quickly claimed it for his own. Brothers.
The rest of the month has just been a slammin' good time with school drop offs, walks in the morning with Trish and some serious silliness. Clark learned twister at school and then Dana taught him to suction cup these little bath animals to his forehead. Lovely.
We played with silk scarves at storytime, tried out Char's new very yellow pants and hung up halloween decorations. Whew! We are exhausted from all this fun.And ooooooh yeah, this is happening too. Yup, Miss Char is up and walking. Life is about to get interesting ya'll.
