Oh she keeps growing. This month she has mastered real people food (and by mastered I mean mastered spitting it out on Dad). She and Clark have really bonded and I caught this cute moment on the floor mat. The bath is still her favorite and she and the rubber ducky have finally made peace so he doesn't get smacked around so much anymore.
Charlotte is a true TV baby and gets upset if we don't move her jumpy toy so she can watch with Clark. One day I came out of the bathroom to find her like this watching some new channel. She is also a real daddy's girl and has serious skills at getting Dana to hold her from the moment he gets home until she goes to sleep.Speaking of sleep....the unswaddling didn't go so well in January so we backed off but then hit it hard last week again and bam! Success! She slept like a dream (until 5AM!!!) the first night and has done pretty much that the past week (minus a few days of clogged nose nastiness...ewww). She sleeps in these funny sacks that make her look like she's in a 3 legged race but they keep her cosy cosy.
This photo is the last night she was swaddled and would watch the camera as if she knew we were there. Then we mounted the camera on the wall and now this is what we see - our sweet baby girl in her big bed...occasionally joined by a sneaky sneaky Mr. Clark.
Miss Char my favorite times with you now are at 4AM after you are fed and changed and I will hold both your hands while you stand up in your sleeper and dance. You get the biggest grin. It makes it all worth it. Oh and PS...does my daughter have the most delicious eyelashes or what? It's the first thing everyone notices. They are wild!
