Busy busy bees

It's been one heck of a busy month for the Gailans. Classes started up again for Dana and this semester that means Human Anatomy and Organic Chemistry which means Clark's first word might just be histology or some other crazy big word. In Kelli news, I got a new calling! I'm now the Stake YW Secretary. It's my first stake calling and I'm still getting my legs under me but so far so good...just busy busy busy.

Clark picked up a nasty cold this last week, just in time for his first week at the babysitters. It's been such a blessing to have great friends around who can watch Clark when we need but since Dana's in school for four hours five days a week, we decided to hire one of our friends to babysit him full time. Her name is Lorraine and she's incredible. She has a little girl named Norah who's just a few months younger than Clark and (probably thanks to him) just started walking this week:) Clark's loving it.

But when we have it at home, this is the funny stuff going on: Getting rolled up like a burrito in yoga mats and learning to climb inside of and on top of EVERYTHING!

But his very favorite toy to climb on top of is his striped zebra. Dana's taught him to push it over by the couch so he can climb even higher. Oh yay. This is gonna be fun! P.S. Look at that sneaky face.

But this is my favorite place for him to climb. He's so proud when he gets up there but then can't figure out how to get down. His little arms will start to shake and he'll start to whimper. We've done everything we can to try and convince him that he's only, like, 5 inches off the ground but he will simply not step down. It's pretty cute.

On the days when he's not hanging out with Nora he likes to Charlie Brown/Linus it by the window watching the yappy dogs next door or (if he's really depressed) snuggle with the Church and Hartman boys and watch BYU get absolutely slaughtered by Michigan. The breakfast at our friend's house was awesome - the game, yeah not so much.

Last but not least we took some family photos (coming later) but had to send Kristina a quick pic to see if our outfits matched (hint: they didn't!). Some like I said: babysitters, classes, work, new callings plus tons of fun activities with friends and lots and lots of walks in this beautiful fall weather. We're all exhausted...obviously!
