Christmas is just around the corner.
Usually we know the 25th is getting closer because people start to get that crazed I-only-have-how-many-day-left look in their eyes but this year we made a goal to get our shopping done early so we could enjoy Christmas the way it was meant to be enjoyed--stress free. So far we're sort of stinking at that, but part of our goal was to do more festive events together. In honor of that, we drove to Yakima Arboretum tonight to enjoy their lighted Arboraria. It was basically a one mile path lit by bags with tea lights. Along the way trees and other buildings were lighted too. We enjoyed a festive walk with hot cider and cookies and we bumped into a few families from the ward as well. It was a great way to spend the evening.
Had to throw this one in for fun. All my young women at our Young Women in Excellence night. They were Value Super Heroes No idea what the sombreros are about:)
