It's no secret we get lonely way up here in the Northwest which makes it extra special when family comes up. This last Saturday Mom, Dad, Granny and Grandpa Kitchen and Dad's brother, Mike, and sister, Jeannie, came up for the weekend because they were all heading out on an Alaskan cruise. It was so much fun to see them and Mom and Dad always seem to bring good weather to Seattle. You're welcome people!
Always a joker, my husband posed alongside a pinecone they call "The Widow Maker". Nice one Dana.
We ate lunch at Ivar's (Dana's choice) and Granny couldn't resist feeding the birds. When we were little and living in Atlanta, she'd always bring us down for Granny time and we'd feed the birds. Dad looks like he's contemplating deep thoughts...or maybe just thinking about the ice cream parlor we saw on the way to lunch. Yum!
The cruise ships are in the background but I couldn't resist a picture of this awesome battleship. Great trip. Great times. Thanks Mom and Dad. We hope your cruise was adventurous, non-nauseous, and warm!
